Le Trio Iberia, formé de la violoniste Johanne Morin, de la violoncelliste Julie Trudeau et de Michel Beauchamp à la guitare 7 cordes, se dédie à la musique classique espagnole.
Le répertoire est composé de ré-instrumentations réalisées par Michel Beauchamp, d’oeuvres d’orchestre et de piano des plus grands compositeurs espagnols.
Cette formation de chambre permet nombre de possibilités exprimant le lyrisme et la fougue inhérente à cette musique. Les accents flamencos et les imitations de la guitare dans ces oeuvres classiques reprennent vie dans une forme plus fidèle à l’inspiration originale.

TheTrio Iberia is dedicated to
classical Spanish music. The repertoire is made up
of re-instrumentations by Michel Beauchamp, of
orchestral and piano works by the greatest Spanish
composers. This chamber formation allows many
possibilities to make the lyricism and the enthusiasm
inherent in this music. The flamenco accents and
imitations of the guitar in these classical works
resurface in a form more faithful to the original inspiration.
